We are excited for another spring soccer season with our partners at the YMCA.  As a ‘Y' coach and a dad, ‘Y' soccer has been a great experience and introduction to the game for my kids.  The partnership between our two organizations, formed several years ago, has allowed us to build a great soccer community that clarifies pathways and makes sure your young player is getting the programming that they need based on their interest in the sport.  

The first ‘bridge' between the Hammerheads and YMCA that we have built is our ‘+1' program.  Held during the YMCA season, The +1 program provides an additional weekly soccer practice with the Hammerheads Academy at our new Ncino Sports Park.  ‘+1' is held on both Mondays and Thursdays and the families chose the day that works for them.  This also ensures that your player does not miss their YMCA recreational practice.  

The details of +1:

Players, ages 7-10, will be ‘injected' into the Hammerheads Academy programming for this additional day of practice.  We will make them feel welcome and get comfortable and they will play and participate like all the players in the current program. 
Players can join in either on Monday's or Thursday. 

Times:

Under 8 (2017) and Under 9 (2016) players: 5:00 - 6:15

Under 10 (2015) players: 6:15 - 7:30
