"Thanks again for having us this weekend for your tournament. For your inaugural event, we were very impressed by your organization, skill level of the teams we faced and the maturity and kindness of the opposing coaches and parents. The administration with the Hammerheads Youth Organization was top notch from the day we inquired about the event until the conclusion yesterday.

Like I mentioned, we were looking around at tournaments to play in to end our season and when one pops up at the beach, it’s a no brainer! WHYFC hosts two tournaments throughout the calendar year.  The tournament series begins in May with WHYFC's biggest tournament, the Seaside Classic.  A great time of year to come to Wilmington the Seaside Classic hosts over 300 teams annually and consistently sells out.  

Following the Seaside Classic is November's Beach Classic.  Another popular event, the Beach Classic sits at the end of the fall season and is a perfect event to finish off the year.  

WHYFC works closely with city and county officials and takes pride in the organization and execution of these tournaments.  With cooperation from the Convention and Visitors Bureau the economic impact of these two tournaments in the Wilmington community is valued at over $8 million dollars
