WILMINGTON, NC (February 4, 2019) – Jamie Salling and Bryan Tate of Salling & Tate General Dentistry, located off Eastwood Rd. right before the Wrightsville Beach bridge have joined the Wilmington Hammerheads supporters group.  Cape Fear Soccer Park Field #3 will now be known as Salling & Tate #3.
Dr. Jamie Salling is a native of Wilmington and has been a part of the Wilmington Hammerheads Youth Soccer Club since he was a kid.

“I have played soccer since I was a kid and have always loved the game, I still play in the adult leagues around town,” said Salling.  “Youth soccer is very different than when I was growing up but what hasn’t changed is that sports, and soccer in particular, helps kids learn great life lessons about teamwork, adversity, commitment, and keeps them active and healthy.  My roots in youth soccer and beyond are responsible for so many valuable and still strong relationships evident in my personal and professional life.  I am honored to support the Hammerheads and will be out at the fields watching!”

Bryan Tate is a parent of two Hammerhead players and when he is not working he is most likely at the Soccer Park.

“I like being involved with great things! And I love anyone with a passion for what they are doing!  Watching these kids work hard, week after week and then bring it out on game day is inspiring to watch and teaches them valuable life lessons as they age from tots to college bound young adults.  These same lessons and memories have influenced my wife, Tracy, and I and our family.  Hammerheads have been a big part of our life for the past few years and it has given our family new and lasting relationships.  I see the Hammerheads organization not only growing in size but also in quality.  Salling and Tate is honored to help the organization and the players move forward.”

“I can’t thank Bryan and Jamie enough for this support,” said Carson Porter, Hammerheads Executive Director. “Their support will go directly toward maintaining and improving the experience for our kids.  We talked at length about the life lessons that soccer can teach and I’m excited and grateful to have the support of people who believe in this idea.  Thank you to Jamie and Bryan and to Salling & Tate Dentistry.
